SOUTH ISLAND SEMINAR – EVERYTHING YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT CORNER JUDGING!

 

WHERE?  Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo Club, Spreydon School, 16 Mathers Road, Hoon Hay, Christchurch

WHEN?    SUNDAY,  9th May   1:00-4:00

WHO?     Anyone who is blue belt or above, aged 12 and over, who is interested in corner judging at tournaments – instructors, students, active parents

FACILITATORS?  Gavin Gallot – WT Oceania certified coach and referee,  and Bernie Miller – experienced NZ referee.  Both facilitators have years of experience in refereeing at tournaments throughout New Zealand.

Hand held corner judging devices and associated laptop will be available for practice.

A chance for individuals to gain experience and understanding of kyorugi corner judging. The seminar will cover the use of the corner judging system, what are the values of points, the scoring area and a quick rundown of the electronic system.

This seminar is for students who are blue belt and above aged 12 years or older, instructors and team officials/helpers. Team officials/helpers includes but is not limited to, judges, referees, team managers, parents who wish to assist at tournaments.

Free for TUNZ members;  $5 for non-TUNZ Members

Dress code:  Mufti    Bring:  Your enthusiasm for corner judging!, drink bottle and snack, warm jacket, pen and paper if you wish.
