Welcome to Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo Union Inc
Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo Union Inc is an incorporated, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion and development of WT Olympic Taekwondo in New Zealand. Established in 1993, the club has a long-standing history of supporting the growth of the sport through the delivery of competitions, events, and athlete development opportunities. Operating as a community-focused body, Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo works collaboratively with local clubs and national organisations to hold events and seminars, foster participation, strengthen pathways, and contribute to the success of athletes at regional, national, and international levels. Committed to the values of respect, integrity, and excellence, the organisation continues to play a key role in building a strong and connected Taekwondo community.
We have our own purpose-built dojang located at:
16 Mathers Road, Hoon Hay, Christchurch, New Zealand
Our facility includes:
Fully padded training floors
Wall mirrors for technical development
Male and female changing rooms
Clean bathroom facilities
The dojang is a place where students can leave the stresses of the day at the door and focus on personal growth, discipline and improvement.
