Stretching Class for 2015: Introducing "The Rubber Band Club"
If one of your goals for 2015 is to improve your flexibility and kick strength then The Rubber Band Club is for you!
We will be meeting for a maximum of 10-15 minutes after every Monday and Wednesday General Class at 8:00pm to share our best stretching and strength routines. This is a really informal session with everyone encouraged to participate and even take a session of their own to ensure we get a good variety of ideas shared.
To really enhance your training I would encourage you to purchase a stretchy resistance band. These are also known as Dyna bands or exercise bands and they can be purchased for approx. $6 at The Warehouse or at any fitness/sports store. We will utilise these bands to really improve our kick technique and these can also be used to enhance stretching exercises.
Please also bring a small towel as we will use this as we work on our full and side splits (helps your foot slide on the mat).
