Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo Adult Grading on Saturday 12th April
'Congratulations to all those that participated in the Adult Grading on Saturday 12th April. It was a hard grading with the introduction of our new syllabus on top of the usual physical elements that we have come to expect! I want to make a special mention to the large team of white belts who all performed really well on the day. The first grading is always nerve wracking and intense but you all looked well prepared and that can be attributed to all the hours practise you have put in. Remember the next grading always comes around sooner than you think, so the sooner you can master the syllabus for your new grade the better. Keep up the hard work!'
On Wednesday 9th April our Kids Class Students participated in their first grading for 2014.
The Grading was run by our Kids Class Instructors Neil Watts and Nic Dorman and well attended by our Black belts and senior adult and junior black tabs. The grading was physical and challenging especially for the beginners but everyone rose to the challenge. It was pleasing to see those who have been attending the Tuesday Poomsae class proving that the extra practise pays off. Congratulations to everyone who graded, with special mention to Connor who graded to black tabs after putting in a really admirable effort.
