Poomsae class 6.00pm – 7.00pm
This class is open to all ages and grades.
"Non-Syllabus general class with an emphasis on learning the Korean terminology for techniques and commands" Open to all ages and grades.
The class is open to all members of the club and will look at correct poomsae technique, applications and competition preparation. We aim to get as many members as possible up to a winning standard for grading and poomsae competition and to give opportunities to compete and win on a local, national and international level. It is possible to represent New Zealand as a successful poomsae practitioner at international events including the world championships. Poomsae teams will be formed and are also able to compete. Black belts will learn higher Dan patterns. Other members will focus on improving basic technique.
For those who are interested in attending a poomsae class but are unable to make that time please email the club with that information. Other classes can be established if there is sufficient interest.
The Thursday night Poomsae class instructed by Rafael Neves is becoming more and more popular as Students realise that this class has so much to offer. Whether you are looking to compete in Poomsae Competition or just want to have that technical edge for Grading this class is for you. As you'll see from the photo, Rafael's class is averaging approx 20 people every Thursday night with a good mix of kids and adults. I encourage everyone to get along and make use of Rafael's expertise.
