  • Yorick Neal
    My philosophy is that the club should offer something for everyone interested in learning Taekwondo. I have been training in Taekwondo for over 25 years, and have also trained in Hapkido. My involvement in Taekwondo has culminated in being awarded a Kukkiwon Diploma for services to the sport, and more recently a life membership in TUNZ.
  • Neil Watts
    Neil Watts, our club president has being involved with the club since it started. He has a passion for the training and development of new members and ensuring that Christchurch Olympic Taekwondo offers them the opportunity to achieve, gain knowledge and progress through to obtaining their black belts.
  • Rafael Aguilhera Neves
    Rafael Aguilhera Neves Rafael is a 5th dan Black Belt who originates from Pelotas in Brazil. He has 20 years of training experience having trained in Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. He obtained his 5th dan Black Belt with the Christchurch Olympic Club in December 2015.
  • Sarah Vergeer
    Sarah Vergeer 2nd Dan Black Belt. Represented NZ in Tijuana competing in the Youth Olympic Games qualifying rounds and the Junior World Champs during 2010.
